

Coaching is a series of one-on-one sessions between an executive and an external coach. Coaching is focused on attainable current and future goals through learning and self-development.
The coach provides guidance that can include goal setting, development objectives, identifying your weaknesses and leveraging your strengths. Coaching goals are similar to business goals. They are often related to your external world, your behavior in it and are based on measurable outcomes. You are held accountable for your actions while being empowered with strategies designed to achieve your self-identified goals.
A coach’s role is not to act as a therapist. They do not give advice or solve problems. Instead, they explore and pose questions that enable you to gain clarity on your challenges and find the best solution.
